A MESSAGE FROM THE MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Welcome to the web-site of the Burnham and Highbridge Band. Here at Burnham we try to uphold the traditions of the brass band movement, playing for enjoyment as well as to please an audience. We work hard to continuously improve our playing abilities and also to further our own musicianship. We have a wide range of members in both age and ability both male and female. We have been lucky to have a couple of younger instrumentalists join the band recently. Young players are the future of the banding scene. Without them there will be no future. But whatever your age, if you would like to come and join us we would be delighted to see you, on any instrument, and assure you a warm welcome.
