The Annual General Meeting of the Highbridge and Burnham Band will take place at the Band Headquarters, Worston Lane, Burnham on Sea at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 4th April 2007.

The band is delighted to ackowledge a grant of £3000 towards its new uniforms. The committee decided last year to start a fund for the renewal of uniforms because the present ones, which the band has sported for over twenty years are becoming untidy and even delapidated. A cheque was presented to the band by County Councillor Mike Facey at the band headquarters on the evening of 14th February. The sum constitutes a considerable proportion of the money given to Councillor Facey each year to help local initiatives. The band expresses its sincere thanks to him and hopes the new uniforms will be ready for concerts later in the summer of this year.
